House my dog already had a website but they wanted to build an app version and to avoid miss communication between teams they hired me as a UX/ UI designer to make the link with developers from Threadable and House my dog.
Threadable decided to offer UX/UI services for House My Dog to create the workflow using prototyping to visualize how the app should work.
The first step of the process was created a low-fi wireframe to understand the workflow as quickly as possible and see which points should be solved on the app. After that, I created some decision elements as placeholders.
The company used agile methodologies ( SCRUM). Releases were presented on requirements meeting.
The project was presented using Adobe XD to create mockups (it's a free tool) and the team was able to make comments related to the workflow. Jira was used to manage the project and the meetings, Skype was used to communicate with Ukraine developers.
We made an internal UX test at HMD office to improve the app, after the release 0.1.0. We had 8 people during the test, some of them were from SAC (it's good to provide some feedback from the users), technical users, administrative area and some potential user without nothing related about the House My Dog.
